There are some merchants in Mor Dona that have to do with crafting and sell a few things for high level crafters who want to start doing glamours.
#Glamour prism how to
You learn how to make Glamour Prisms in Vesper Bay it's the woman who also teaches you how to dye your gear. Don t single handedly glamour every item in your inventory, put them in your dresser. Be mindful to go to an Inn or your House or GC Barracks to use your prisms to make a set, this will save you millions of gill and prisms in the long run. Anyone serious about the appearance of their character will burn through a lot of Glamour Prisms. When you Glamour an item or place it in the Glamour Dresser, you’ll need to use a Glamour Prism. Glamoured gear will display a plus icon and the names of both the base item and the projected item will be visible upon inspection. It is not required to dispel existing glamours from a piece of gear before casting a different glamour. You could also make them yourself should you level your crafting. Glamour Prisms are items that are consumed when you change the appearance of an item in Final Fantasy XIV. The glamour prism will be consumed upon use, but no gear will be lost in the process. You can buy them for 10 or so Company seals from your selected Grand Company. Trial users have full access to Glamour and prisms. It costs one glamour prism every time you cast a glamour from inventory (and ties up inventory space besides) Also, when stored in the dresser, they would still require prisms to modify the appearance of your armor That means, the dresser is just some form of storage for items that look pretty Nope. Deleting one will also cancel any dye you have applied inside of that plate. Same in Mor Dhona for those normal Tomestones. A glamour plate includes all the pieces of equipment a player can use from head to toe and it's even possible to wear specific glamours that make some pieces invisible. same for the Wolf Mark's you get from PvP, they got a cool Magiteck Air Raider mount from FF6 if you're into that.įor a short time right now, you get Irrigular Tomesstones you can hand in to certain moogle merchants for another handfull of mounts.
#Glamour prism Patch
You can buy a set of mounts for Achievement Points like Floating eyes or Behemoths. As of Patch 4.2 each crafting class (except Culinarian) is able to craft generic Glamour Prisms which can be used for all types of equipment.Prior to Patch 4.
You get some Magiteck stuff from just doing the main story.
